Earlesmere guest house is located about a mile and a quarter outside Doncaster town centre. Doncaster is well known for its lively nightlife and there are many restaurants to suit every taste.

Doncaster racecourse famous for the St.Leger is within walking distance. The new grandstand only re-opened in August 2007.

There are many attractions in and around Doncaster including Conisborough castle which was the inspiration for Ivanhoe, by Sir Walter Scott. Brodsworth hall and Cusworth hall are also in easy driving distance

If you feel like going further afield the beautiful Yorkshire coastline is less than two hours drive, there’s Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby and many other pretty and quaint villages to explore.
